With classic tonic, it is better to use a drier gin (London dry gin) but this tonic is suitable for any variety of gin. The classic tonics are the most usual and they bring a nice bitterness that perfectly complements the taste of all gins.
Recommended garnish: Lemon, grapefruit or cucumber slice.
2 - Light tonic
Light tonic
With light tonic, it is better to use a more pronounced gin (ex: aged or juniper berry-based gin) but this tonic is suitable for any variety of gin. The light tonics bring the same traditional taste and the same bitterness as the classic tonics but they are lighter in calories thus leaving more room for the dominant flavors present in some gins.
Recommended garnish: Slice of grapefruit or orange.

"Viridis offers a rich tasting experience and an aromatic signature inspired by the dedicated work of Gaspésie market gardeners.
Its nose presents scents of fresh earth and a root fragrance. On the palate, you discover a lovely texture and its earthy side, which comes through in accents of chocolate and root. A pleasant smoothness makes for an enjoyable tasting, supported by a pronounced herbaceous sweetness, despite the absence of added sugar. Minty and anise flavours accompany the conifer notes. The finish lingers on the herbaceous, vegetal side of chlorophyll.
Like all the spirits in our exploratory series, it reflects our pursuit of creation, authenticity and new scents, yet always typically Gaspésien. Its evolution of flavours immerses us in a cultivated field in spring, while reminding us of the abundance of late-summer harvests.
