"Prélude gin is the first project in Distillerie des Marigots’ exploratory series.
Its recipe came to master distiller Joseph St-Denis Boulanger while he was creating Récif gin. As he was experimenting with botanicals and their pairings, an interesting aromatic profile emerged using 7 of Récif’s 14 botanicals. The result is a completely different aromatic signature. Excited by this discovery, Joseph decided to produce this gin in a limited series.
With aromas of grapefruit, Prélude is a fresh, lively and subtly anise-flavoured gin. It offers notes of conifers and a floral finish.
Distilled to the sound of the surf, it showcases the flavours of the Gaspésie terroir, thanks to its botanicals picked locally and produced by artisans of the region."
