Tulip glasses (also called Hurricanes or Ouragans glasses) are glasses with a short stem, curves that develop in the shape of a balloon then which close slightly and reopen at the end, and which generally contain between 200ml and 750ml (between 7oz and 25oz). These glasses are usually used for serving cocktails filled with ice because they provide good aeration in the glass to keep the aromas of the cocktails in the glass. The smaller Tulip glasses that are not opened at the end are mainly used for tastings.
