1 - Boreal tonic
Boreal tonic
With boreal tonic, it is best to use a woody / forested gin or an herbaceous gin. Boreal tonics bring an additional woody / forest flavor to the gin with flavors of spruce and juniper present in these tonics.
Recommended garnish: Lemon or orange slice.
2 - Classic tonic
Classic tonic
With classic tonic, it is better to use a drier gin (London dry gin) but this tonic is suitable for any variety of gin. The classic tonics are the most usual and they bring a nice bitterness that perfectly complements the taste of all gins.
Recommended garnish: Lemon, grapefruit or cucumber slice.
3 - Light tonic
Light tonic
With light tonic, it is better to use a more pronounced gin (ex: aged or juniper berry-based gin) but this tonic is suitable for any variety of gin. The light tonics bring the same traditional taste and the same bitterness as the classic tonics but they are lighter in calories thus leaving more room for the dominant flavors present in some gins.
Recommended garnish: Slice of grapefruit or orange.

"Many of you asked us for a forest flavour for our next gin! So here it is! We decided to focus on spruce for our new product, because its finishing notes are softer than those of fir. Plus, small spruce shoots abound in our region, so the choice was easy. Picked in spring, the shoots give the product a lovely conifer flavour without being overpowering."
